About the Medical and Behavioral Strategist

Work alongside our Training and Solutions Architects, Medical Writers, Creative Designers, Project Managers, and Editors – the MBS role contributes clinical and behavioral insights to ensure our solutions are clinically and behaviorally informed experiences for clinical training and engagement.   

We’ll look to this role for their deep clinical and behavioral science expertise and they’ll be highly involved in the creation of engagement and training strategies for individual client projects. Our Medical and Behavioral Strategists partner with Training and Solutions Architects who lead the strategy for client projects and provide deep expertise in medical education training and engagement.

Help shape an effective training strategy based on behavioral insights and champion solutions from concept to execution that effectively and functionally meet the clinical need.

Interface directly with physician leads to help interpret the clinical need and serve as a bridge between this need and our medical writers and creative designers. .

Help assess our experiences post event to gather and measure insights. Look to continually refine strategies for deeper efficacy and engagement based on behavioral science.

This position is home-based with frequent virtual meetings and collaboration with a globally-distributed team at IQVIA and with our clients.

Who You Are

Credentialed:

You hold a PhD or masters in a social science field such as health communications, psychology, behavioral science, or related. You enjoy interfacing with key opinion leaders and clinical experts but also sharing your deep knowledge with others who do not have medical backgrounds.

Seasoned:

You have extensive pharmaceutical or medical experience where you have created medical content and strategies to explain complex concepts and bring ideas and patient stories to life.

Empathetic:

You can empathize with individuals including a diverse global audience of physicians and care teams who are passionate about exploring new treatments for patients and improving the health of their communities. You are interested in researching and strategizing solutions appropriate for the many regions in which our trainings are held.

Resourceful:

You may not know all the answers, but you have a proven track record of working through difficult challenges by independently researching potential directions, collaborating with others, and iterating to find solutions.
