PURPOSE

Manages the operations of the EMEA and APAC treasury desks including bank account management, treasury services implementation, banking research and resolution of issues for internal customers.  Facilitates intercompany settlements and liaises with accounts payable and local finance to ensure timely payments.  Responsible for global cash reporting and banking database administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

All responsibilities are essential job functions unless noted as nonessential (N).

  • Manages the operation of the EMEA and APAC treasury desks including bank account administration, KYC compliance and treasury services implementations
  • Ensures appropriate liquidity in European Cash Pools
  • Creates wire templates and initiates wire transfers
  • Assists business units with banking queries and cash management
  • System administrator for banking portals including Wells Fargo CEO, BNPP Connexis, BAML CashPro, RBC Express, CitiDirect, HSBCnet, BB&T Cash Manager Online, Symcor (RBC ACH application), Barclays and JPMorgan Chase
  • Utilizes Kyriba treasury workstation and acts as the Super User/Trainer
  • Administers global banking database
  • Reports global cash balances by country
  • BMG Netting Administrator
  • Coordinates FBAR Reporting
  • Assists with special projects as assigned
  • Acts as a back-up for the Americas treasury desk
  • Performs other duties as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Possess a working knowledge of accounting/finance policies and procedures
  • Possess a general working knowledge of accounting rules, concepts, and regulations
  • Possess strong interpersonal and organization skills
  • Possess the ability to prioritize work
  • Proficient with spreadsheet and word processing applications in a Windows environment

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or other related field and a minimum of 2 years of accounting/finance experience in key functional area (e.g. treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, payroll, tax, etc); or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive amount of writing and keyboarding involving repetitive motions with fingers.
  • Sitting for prolonged periods of time.
  • Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communications, requiring accurate perception of speech.
