Creates documents and prepares responses (format may include text, graphics, org charts, slides, etc) to RFIs and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from clients utilizing appropriate tools and subject matter experts to obtain data, text, and information. Uses strong writing skills and grammar in development of all responses. Includes developing original content to address the client’s questions. Develops budget for contact center services using PPD budget template to accurately reflect client’s requirements and the level of effort required to meet those requirements. Assists designated lead with tasks defined by opportunity (i.e. competitive landscape searches, slide creation, org chart creation). Reviews documents created within or outside of PPD to ensure a quality standards and ensures compliance with best practices. Reviews and edits, as appropriate, operational, IT, BD and management input to PPD proposals, to create documents that position PPD to clients as the top choice for award, streamlining text to ensure an overall message and positioning. Liaises with subject matter experts to establish project-specific (therapeutic, client, system etc.) context for positioning PPD’s proposal to client’s needs. Assists designated lead with tasks defined by opportunity (i.e. competitive landscape searches, slide creation, org chart creation). Triages basic technical questions regarding PPD systems, software and text automation used for proposal text development and elevates to Level 1 support as needed. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 2 years’) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

Years of experience refers to typical years of related experience needed to gain the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including persuasive, marketing or technical writing. Demonstrates analytical skills, effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to provide recommendations on key proposal and budgeting parameters based on knowledge and experience Ability to work well under pressure Ability to adapt to changing priorities Knowledge of contact centers, medical information, pharmacovigilance or other biopharmaceutical experience. Professional ability to interact with individuals at all levels Proficiency in mathematics and ability to work with budgets Understanding of unitized grids, unit cost, unit drivers Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel Problem solving skills Proven flexibility and adaptability
