Field-Based Nurse Managers Needed

IQVIA is seeking to recruit Field Managers to support and manage our IQVIA Covid 19 Sampling Study Project. The study operates within a community setting and you will be managing and supporting a team of Nurses and Healthcare workers in the field whose roles are to take blood and swab tests from study participants. Within your geographic region you will be responsible for motivating and managing the activities of your team to ensure all the visits are actioned and recorded correctly.

You will be :

  • An effective coach, able to support and motivate your team
  • Highly IT literate with the ability to give guidance and advice on reporting, ensuring your team maintain accurate participants records, completing internal electronic monitoring and reporting systems in accordance with program timescales.
  • Highly organised and able to plan your workload effectively.
  • Flexible and adaptable individuals as the team you will be managing are required to work some evenings and weekend shifts.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and coaching your team in the efficient sampling and support of participants in the home.  
  • Ensuring your team carry out clinical procedures correctly and effectively, including viral swabs and phlebotomy.
  • Providing continual support to ensure team KPIs and metrics are delivered

As a Field Manager at IQVIA you need to be/have:

  • Able to motivate a geographically spread field team.
  • Strong people management and coaching skills.
  • A great attention to detail, exceptional IT and administration skills
  • A high level of accuracy to be able to train and problem solve HCW’s on our internal systems.
  • A management background is essential – ideally from the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare sector .
  • A nursing background would be desirable but not essential
  • Experience in phlebotomy, venepuncture desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work autonomously and confidently  
  • Flexible, professional approach  
  • Eligibility to work full time in the UK  
  • Current full UK driving licence (no more than 6 pts.)
