Parexel informatics has an incredible opportunity for a Medical Imaging SME to bring their imaging expertise, forward thinking mindset, love for change, and passion for disruptive science to our newly created Knowledge Innovation Center!

In this newly created role, you will report directly to the Vice President, Scientific and Medical Services and work closely to drive science and develop new technologies. You will interact extensively with KOLs and outside labs to discuss highly technical scientific issues and work within the Innovation Center to "make it happen!"

Key Accountabilities

• Provide medical expertise to project teams conducting clinical trials that rely upon the results of medical imaging studies.

• Assist in study design to ensure standardization of techniques in multi-center trials.

• Provide consulting to clients on medical issues.

• Provide support for the preparation of clinical protocols, journal articles, and other documents for clients/sponsors.

• Provide guidance in the customization of analysis software tools to meet business needs.

• Support project managers on general project management issues.

• Coordinate appropriate training activities on relevant radiology topics for staff members, subcontractors, and CRAs.

• Participate in meetings with existing clients and/or presentations to prospective clients, as needed.

• Participate in industry meetings and/or presentations to promote awareness of Perceptive Informatics.

• Attend and present material, as requested, at internal meetings as well as extra-company meetings (such as investigator meetings).

• Develop, as necessary, and ensure compliance with relevant standard operating procedures.

• Stay up-to-date through ongoing training, journal reading and conference attendance.

• Responsible for quality and regulatory compliance of deliverables working closely with Quality Management staff.

• Potentially serve as gold standard, adjudicator or primary reader in area of expertise for selected trials.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a good working knowledge of medical terminology and standard medical practice, as well as the ability to digest and apply new knowledge regarding disease entities and pharmaceutical development as related to specific clinical trials.

• The ability to communicate clearly and precisely, both orally and in writing is essential, along with the ability to research information and prepare written documents.

• A keen ongoing interest in medicine, pharmaceuticals, and regulatory affairs is essential for

maintaining quality performance in this position.QualificationsSkills
