US Privacy Officer and Associate Director DPP

This is a senior-level position at Parexel which is responsible and accountable to oversee Parexel's compliance with applicable US federal and/or state privacy laws. In this position s/he will support the publication of Parexel's US business related Data Protection and Privacy (DPP) Policies, monitoring of compliance with such Policies, overseeing of corrective and preventive actions in cases of breaches of such Policies and regularly provide reports to the Chief Privacy Officer about this. This work requires cross-functional and cross-SBU collaboration within the company.Qualifications• 2+ years’ experience in US privacy compliance in the clinical research field, pharmaceutical industry or health care.

• Good knowledge of US federal and state privacy legislations including US Federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act

• Good knowledge of information technology and its function regarding Data Protection and Privacy compliance.

• Good understanding of the clinical trial process including GxP, Quality Management, Clinical, Data Management and Statistics

• Possess an international perspective of regulatory and business elements of the pharmaceutical industry and clinical trial process

• Proven record of establishing productive relationships and leading across multiple functional and cultural boundaries.

• Quality, GCP or Law degree, clinical research field related experiences required.
