Job Summary We are seeking a Manager, Procurement Global Category Management - Information Technology for our Corporate team. The preferred location for this position is Wilmington, MA however flexibility will be offered to the ideal candidate.

The following are responsibilities related to the Manager, Procurement Global Category Management - Information Technology:

• Implement global category strategies with business leads for assigned categories, several which are complex and of strategic importance, high value and critical to business success.

• Implement SRM with strategic suppliers utilizing analytics for effective procurement strategies. Measure and improve supplier performance against business objectives while reducing costs and increasing value.

• Stay informed on the market, changing technologies, and global market trends to ensure category strategies are delivering maximum value while maintaining quality and service.

• Identify and manage supply chain risks. Collect vendor intelligence; anticipate market trends and develop strategies.

• Utilize collaborative procurement for partnering and competitive processes to assure continuous improvements.

• Liaise with procurement peers to ensure a consistent approach to category strategies and management.

• Develop, negotiate and manage global contractual relationships including all appropriate supply agreements, statements of work and quality agreements.

• Manage cost savings and performance measurement systems for supplier contracts. Track, analyze and report cost savings against investment proposals, capital expenditure and contract commitments.

• Support enforcement of process, policy, and regulations, working with Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Audit as appropriate. Create process documents, SOPs and work instructions as required.

• Develop relationships at all applicable levels of the organization to better understand and align with business strategy and direction.

• Utilize and manage procurement processes (category strategy, RFP, SRM, compliance, etc.).

• Skillfully negotiate agreements in a timely manner, manage tough vendor situations and sensitive relationships ensuring value and minimizing risk.

• Contribute to or Lead cross-functional teams where appropriate identifying executable actions and drive implementation plans.

• When appropriate, manage and direct Category Buyers.

• Support personnel management activities such as: scheduling, training and development.

• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

The following are minimum qualifications related to the Manager, Procurement Global Category Management - Information Technology position:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, computer information systems or a related area required.

• Minimum 4 years of procurement experience with deep understanding of the supply and demand markets associated with IT/Technology categories

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above
