Medical Sales Representative – Dermatology

Quintiles are currently seeking a Medical Sales Representative to work in partnership with an international skin care company in both primary and secondary care, across the North East of England.

Focusing on key dermatology accounts and across the local health economy, you will be working with dermatologists on a partner level, in order to assist them help their patients, with dermatological problems and cosmetic concerns.

You will identify blocks to prescribing and work with Secondary care staff and GPs to negotiate your product onto guidelines. In addition, you will be involved in training and educating store based Skin Advisers and Pharmacists as necessary as the "Derma cosmetic" side of the business is just as important as the medical aspect of the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a medical sales representative, ideally with both primary and secondary care experience and an interest in the cosmetic arena, who is looking to manage their own business, wishing to expand their knowledge of OTC sales as well as prescription sales. This very enjoyable role is part of a small specialist team and ideal for someone who really wants to prove themselves.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who can deliver an exceptionally high standard of quality work, whilst being determined and flexible to changes in strategy and working.

Key skills & experience required:
 Proven pharmaceutical sales experience within primary care, ideally with some secondary care experience
 Good working knowledge & understanding of key stakeholders within the NHS
 Extremely commercial and can demonstrate strong relationship building skills
 The ability to train individuals of different backgrounds on products
 Demonstrate passion, enthusiasm and belief
 Strong team worker
 Excellent negotiation skills
 Highly motivated and able to account manage and plan own territory
 ABPI qualified
 Full EU Driving licence (no more than 6 points)
 Full eligibility to work in the UK
