To provide support to the GL managers and Controllers, to execute all aspects of financial accounting and reporting ensuring the correct recording of all assets & liabilities and costs & revenues and maintaining a complete set of records to comply with both internal and statutory reporting requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

- Prepares, documents, and maintains complex monthly journal entries providing a clear audit trail
- Ensures all other designated balance sheet accounts are reconciled
- Coordinates the completion of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations file for specific legal entities
- Prepares and reviews closing checklist for specific legal entities
- Ensures and participates in monthly intercompany reconciliation process
- Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities for specific legal entities
- Assists in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and year end packages for specific legal entities
- Instruct and work closely with Local Finance Specialists and local accountants
- Assists line manager in the co-ordination and preparation of balance sheet review presentations for specific legal entities
- Liaises with Auditors at year end and assists line manager in the preparation of the year end audit file
- Supports the preparation of Statutory Accounts
- Prepares monthly tax packages and assists in any other ad hoc projects for specific legal entities
- Collects required information with regard to tax returns
- Prepares or issues business tax returns
- Assists with the update of SOX narratives for assigned cycles
- Has working knowledge of pertinent policies and procedures
- Has working knowledge of key SOX controls in the department and adheres to these controls
- Works with internal and external auditors
- Directs and reviews the work of GL Accountants


- Good analytical skills
- Good organizational skills
- Experience from working in an international environment
- Experience with multi-currency transactions
- Familiarly with finance, accounting operations
- Strong accounting skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts
- Good working knowledge of Business Taxes
- Knowledge about the use of Microsoft Office Products
- Articulates ideas and conveys information effectively in both individual and group situations
- Demonstrates an ability to read and analyze data and offer consistent recommendations for problem resolution
- Client focused approach to work

- Solid educational background in accounting
- CPA preferred

- 4+ years accounting experience in an international environment
- Auditing experience with one of the big firms desired
