Provide level 2 production support for the ongoing maintenance of highly complex applications. Support activities will require managing and closing of daily incident tickets as well as problem tickets to resolve root causes. Will need a solid understanding of the standard Software Development Lifecycle, which includes the ability to translate business requirements into solid functional designs, when working on various Change Requests logged by the Business Users. Manage the resolution of problem tickets and change requests with minimal assistance. This will require the ability to do root cause analysis with recommended workarounds. Root Cause solutions should minimize custom changes where the application-s functionality can solve the problem. Change requests should also be analyzed to leverage any standard functionality, ensuring any solution fully meets the business requirements. Help out in the areas of systems integration, implementation and software updates. Ensure that system documentation is complete and in accordance with IT and Corporate policy and guidelines. Perform & document unit testing of all code changes, managed in a source code controlled environment. Manage the Change Release Process from a development environment through Quality Assurance, Process Validation (by representatives of the business) to Production Go Live. Code delivery and documentation should be managed in a professional manner with exceptionally high quality

Looking for a Techno-functional Consultant experiences in functional configuration of the Oracle E-business Suite. - Bachelor Degree in Computer Technolgy or equivalent years of experience - 6-8 years of IT experience out of which a minimum of 4-5 years is in oracle Apps. - Minimum of 1-2 years- experience in R12 on the Financial Accounting Controls and Reporting processes (main focus in GL and AGIS) - Good knowledge in PL/SQL and the underlying finance table structure - Real plus for any addtional technologies like Forms 10g, Reports 10g, XML Publisher and Workflow Builder. - Excellent troubleshooting skills for Support Issues. Prior Support experience is a Must. Team player. Good communication skills
