  • Own the process of tracking, analyzing and reporting and reconciling passthrough costs and passthrough revenue from Subledgers to Hyperion.
  • Provide timely and accurate support, guidance and resolutions to issues raised by PeopleSoft Project and Contract users, with special emphasis on invoicing, revenue, costing, project/contract configuration, and reporting.
  • Proactively identify and resolve transactions that have not completed a systematic process flow and/or have incorrect data points, with special emphasis around month end close cycle.
  • Conduct and coordinate user acceptance testing on assigned system fixes prior to the change being migrated to live environment.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis required on special projects that are supporting broader business initiatives.
  • Engage in team efforts contributing to the design requirements, testing, implementation and ongoing support of new ERP and PSA systems
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Finance experience required;
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines;
  • Excellent financial, communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills, with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and organization;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and healthy working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients;
  • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines is necessary;
  • Demonstrates ability to work with confidential and sensitive data.

CRITICAL JOB FUNCTIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH ADA CRITERIA:

  • Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
  • Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers.
  • Regular sitting for extended periods of time.

MINIMUM RECRUITMENT STANDARDS:

  • BA/BS degree in Business/Accounting/Finance with 2 years of accounting or finance experience.

Financial Accounting experience in the Pharmaceutical or CRO industry preferred
