Senior Principal, Artificial Intelligence Product Portfolio Management

We are looking for a passionate technology and product-focused evangelist for this UK-based position (with regular travel to the US and throughout Europe). 

In this leadership role for our Real World Technology Platforms you will be key in creating the product and portfolio strategy for Real World Data analytics platforms, working closely with Product Managers, and the Software Development & Data Science teams who are building innovative solutions on Real World Data in healthcare; Solutions which turn learning health systems from concept to reality, levering computer science to address some of healthcare’s most pressing issues, such as under-diagnosis of rare disease, under-treatment of complex patients. These exciting products and solutions can be customized to meet specific client needs, and you will have the relevant expertise to identify such opportunities. 

You’ll work closely with and across the leadership our Real World Solutions (RWS) and other global teams including VPs and Directors in customer lines and software engineering cells, as well as Sales and Principals across Global Real World Solutions and the local business units to:

• Define the Platform portfolio vision and strategy including developing assets (platform(s) or products on existing platform) in whitespaces
• Create and run the portfolio management process, including identify market gaps and problems and the financial potential through to detail articulation of realistic product roadmaps
• Lead and manage the dedicated product management team, driving improvement in tooling and enhancement of analytic & AI product management as an IQVIA career
• In conjunction with engineering team, publish, maintain and communicate product roadmaps, including associated financial and budget forecasts
• Build strong relationships with development staff, product owners, senior executive and clients alike; bridging the gap between business ‘wants’ and customer ‘needs’.
• Shape value proposition across and within platforms, establish standards for value messaging & differentiators in coordination with sales or product marketing teams
• Strive for seamless client/user experience – including running pre-/post sales engineering and client training and adopt program – as we as standards for UI/UX;
• Support triage and/or proposal writing for large RfPs combining multiple technologies, including proposing fit-for-purpose platform & services solution in line with client needs
• Drive innovation through stakeholder and client feedback cycles.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A relevant Bachelor's Degree
• Substantial professional experience in the consulting / healthcare technology industry with evidence of career progression
• Demonstrable experience in product management
• A track record of management, leadership and people development.
• A willingness and ability to travel to client locations (when feasible to do so).
