Basic Summary We are seeking a Team Leader Sample Processing and Reception for our Biologics Testing Solutions site located in Wayne, PA.

Responsible for leading all activities related to sample processing including sample receiving, sample distribution, sample storage, cell bank storage and subcontracted testing.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate and lead all daily activities of the Sample Processing and Reception at our Wayne facility to ensure optimum team performance. Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of the assigned Wayne facility staff. Ensure timely receipt and verification of all incoming materials in an accurate manner and in accordance with all internal procedures and SOP’s. Coordinate and make available all materials required by our laboratory partners for testing in a timely manner. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in a life science or related discipline. Two to four years of relevant laboratory/GMP/GLP experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Able to work independently under minimal supervision. Knowledge of GMPs/GLPs required.  Must regularly move about inside the work area to access storage units and use laboratory equipment; and frequently bend, sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must regularly operate a computer and occasionally operates other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy/scan machine, and computer printer. Must regularly communicate with employees/customers to exchange accurate information.
