This is remote based position will be responsible for providing operational leadership across NA and EU in-life groups to assist in the collaboration and drive towards aligned processes, procedures and use of software systems.  Leadership includes the creation and execution of inter-site training in processes and data collection systems as well as authoring and maintenance of work instruction.    

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

•    Provides guidance and ownership for aligned and harmonized SOPs which directly and in-directly impact operational tasks

•    Participates in master validation efforts to facilitate software system implementation in both North America and Europe.

•    Engages with software developers to offer feedback and solutions to drive program development to meet the needs of CR end users.

•    Provide support for early software solution testing

•    Work collaboratively across functional areas to ensure process and software solutions consider and incorporate shared procedural and organizational goals

•    Lead and facilitate cross site operational team meetings to foster communication, decision making, and align operational practices

•    Work closely the Global Operations In-Life lead to ensure that software and process recommendations align with broader organizational goals

•    Perform all tasks in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice Regulations (GLPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 

•    Train/mentor operational staff members on process and software solutions and ensure all procedures are being followed.

•    Perform all other related duties as assigned.

  Job Qualifications  

•    Education:  Bachelor’s degree in a science field preferred.

•    Experience:  3-5 years experience in a laboratory setting required, as well as at least 2 years of management experience. GLP experience required.

•    An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

•    Certification/Licensure:  None.

•    Other: Must be detail-oriented and have good verbal and written communication skills. Must have intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Able to work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature in which ability to recognize deviation from 

accepted practice is required. Able to receive and understand general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments.
