How you will make an impact

The pharmacy department is the first stage of the preclinical study process. Each new medication is very valuable to our clients and our work involves preparing it based on their instructions. The formulated doses are then passed on to the Tox group that works with the animals so that possible side effects of these medications can be detected.

What you will be working on?

 

The Pharmacy Technician (formulations) prepares the dosage formulations based on the requisition provided by the Formulation Specialist. Another responsibility is preparing the material and drafting the studies while following the study plan indications. You will also be responsible for distributing the dosage formulations to the Tox Technicians, the formulation samples to the Analytical Chemistry Analysts and the tested product to the other departments.

 

What kind of person are we looking for?

 

We are looking for a motivated, self-driven and meticulous person with a DEC in Science or a DEP in Pharmacy technical assistance. Good communication skills. French (4/5) and English (3/5). Must be physically fit, able to lift loads of up to 15 kg occasionally and able to work in a standing position for most of the day.
