Associate Budget Manager

Summary of the position:

To support business operations in analyzing existing scope of work by client to determine if contract revisions are applicable.  Provides support in project financial analysis and reporting within business operations team. 

Key Responsibilities:


• Work closely with project teams to determine appropriate terms and conditions of contracts.
• Develop and prepare change in scope documentation.
• Revise or develop the contracts and related budgets and scope of work. Ensure the scope of work is defined correctly and budgets reflect the scope. Ensure any changes are integrated into the main study contract efficiently and accurately.
• Customize documents to accurately reflect services provided. Oversee finalization and distribution of documents.
• Develop in depth understanding of, and be compliant to all processes and policies relating to the change in scope contracts.
• Assist in the reviewing text utilized by IQVIA Global Contracting Policy, templates and fallbacks.
• Represent Contracts team at customer meetings and on task forces as required.
• Create budget, scopes and contracts as required.
• Provide advice, support and guidance to other Contract Analysts as needed.
• Mentor and train team members.
• Participate in departmental initiatives.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • No supervisory responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree and relevant certifications.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of CRO Industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and understanding of costing models.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret budgets and protocols.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and customers.
