IQVIA is excited to announce that, in partnership with Ironshore Pharmaceuticals, we are currently looking for an Associate Director/Director of Training to join our team of over 10,000 global field representatives, managers and trainers in several regions making over 20 million product details annually for our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.


Ironshore Pharmaceuticals Inc. has launched a novel product for the treatment of ADHD indicated for patients 6 years of age and above.

Associate Director/Director of Training:

The Associate Director/Director of Training will be dedicated to the Ironshore team and will be responsible for the development and delivery of foundational and advanced skills training for the projects’ ADHD sales specialists, sales leadership, and medical science liaisons teams. With limited guidance, the individual in this role will provide expertise to diagnose, design and support training initiatives, while demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners to ensure the delivery of business results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as subject matter expert related to disease state, product and competitive landscape
  • Responsible for the design, development, approval, and delivery of disease state, treatment, product and marketplace curriculum and training, as well as, foundational and advanced skills training (both live & virtual training)
  • Partner with HR on the development and delivery of training for effective coaching for Field Managers, as well as, leadership development programming
  • Act as the primary link between Ironshore Pharmaceuticals and IQVIA to manage the development and delivery of training in accordance with IQVIA and Ironshore policies/procedures and applicable regulations
  • Ensure all training deliverables are delivered on-time and on-budget in support of client training initiatives
  • Proactively coordinate efforts between the client’s Medical, Sales, Marketing and Legal/Compliance departments as needed to enhance field personnel knowledge and skills to deliver appropriate messages and product support
  • Proactively consult with Client Leadership to identify appropriate training needs/gaps and recommend solutions that will support the achievement of assigned client goals
  • Develop strong and effective relationships within assigned client organization and across IQVIA to provide learning solutions that support performance
  • Remain current on trends and developments in the fields of training, performance improvement, and organizational learning, while maintaining/building contacts with training vendors/training professionals
  • Monitor course evaluations and compliance via the Learning Management System (LMS) to gather metrics for continuous improvement and performance for assigned clients
  • Lead and manage all aspects of training (home study, live, and virtual) programs including but not limited to: agenda creation and revisions, new hire on-boarding related to home study and backfill training, subsequent communications and administration of such, compilation/creation of master slide decks, coordination of presenters for live training events/POAs, development of workshops, leader guides and train the trainer events, etc.
  • Develop and execute strategic advanced training, POA meetings and national sales meetings in coordination with the Ironshore Leadership Team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or University required
  • 5+-years’ experience in training design, facilitation and delivery, both live and virtual, experience.  Experience with management and leadership training desired.
  • 2+-years of direct pharmaceutical sales experience and/or 3 of pharmaceutical field management
  • ADHD or CNS experience is a plus
  • Location: Raleigh-Durham preferred. 
    • If remote, will need to live within a 60-90 minute proximity to airport for travel as needed to be present at key meetings and training classes in Raleigh-Durham
  • Ability to travel estimated at 50%
