We are excited to announce that we have partnered with a market leading Medical Device company and at this time we are looking for a General Surgery Sales Representative.

Position Expectations

  • Product sales, surgical case coverage, educating / resourcing customers & clinical evidence dissemination to support the efficacious use of products with customers.
  • Customer office staff / coordinator training set up/resources for aligned accounts.
  • Collaborate with all cross functional partners, including but not limited to; Healthcare Economics, Marketing and Professional Education and Training to support customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Professional Education and Training teamfor surgeon proctorships & surgeon / staff professional education course support.
  • Support & execute account marketing initiatives to drive awareness, overcome objections, & support customer engagement.
  • Account planning & execution using data systems in collaboration with the core team/leadership
  • Follow all Healthcare Compliance / Legal guidelines & policies

Qualifications/Experience

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree required
  • 2 or more years of outside sales experience: business to business, pharmaceutical, medical device required
  • 2 or more years of Medical Device sales, surgical case coverage and selling in surgery strongly preferred
  • General Surgery sales a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Proven successful sales track record
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product-related information
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and generate demand within an assigned geography
  • Solid business acumen including excellent and persuasive business communication
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise good business judgment and execute the selling process in a manner that is concise, compliant, professional, ethical, and persuasive; and with leads to the customer taking action
  • Ability to travel as necessary is required
  • Valid driver’s license that meets with Service Provider driving standards is required
  • Residence within the current geography within proximity to majority of the business is required
  • Must be able to secure credentialing to access relevant customers and accounts in territory
