  Job Summary  

We are seeking a Facilities Technician for our site located in Memphis, TN.   The Facilities Technician performs maintenance for all production and process equipment.  The Facilities Technician will function as an integral part of the maintenance team, provide technical support to team members on a variety of instrumentation and equipment, and complete all documentation relating to maintenance.   The Facilities Technician will also maintain a safe work environment for all employees, complete maintenance work orders, and create/review/approve SOPs for maintenance of new and existing equipment as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair production equipment, process equipment and facilities equipment.  

•    Responsible for the quality of product through the repair and maintenance of production and process equipment.  

•    Complete scheduled and unscheduled work orders and preventative maintenance duties, while completing required documentation. 

•    Develop, review, and perform preventative maintenance and repair operating procedures for required equipment 

•    Provide technical support to process mechanics, utilities mechanics, and production personnel as needed. 

•    Recognize and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment without direct supervision.  

•    Assist in the training of plant personnel on new and/or modified equipment or procedures relating to equipment.  

•    Assist with validations and revalidations, as needed.  

•    Assist in the procurement of stock and repair parts.  

•    Work cross functionally to ensure scheduling of PMs and repairs.

•    Comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

•    Obtain and maintain qualifications necessary for the performance of aseptic activities.  Job Qualifications  

The following are minimum qualifications related to the Facilities Technician position:

 

•    High School Diploma or GED required. 

•    Minimum of 3 years of Maintenance Technician experience in a regulated environment OR Bachelor’s degree with Minimum of 1 year Maintenance Technician experience in a regulated environment.

•    Must be willing to work in a clean room environment that potentially includes hazardous materials, medical equipment, and aseptic cleaning supplies (including latex, alcohol and hydrogen peroxide). 

•    Must have a clean driving record and valid driver license. 

•    Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills. 

•    Must display a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
