Senior Logistics Specialist - Covid Infection Survey – Homebased

12-month Full Time Contract

IQVIA is seeking to recruit a Senior Logistics Specialist, at Associate  Manager level,

to deliver our supply chains for the IQVIA Covid 19 Sampling Study Project. The is a key role to ensure all our field personnel have PPE, test kits and supplies to deliver this significant study. In this role you will:_

• Work directly with our suppliers and partners to ensure they meet the SOPs required
• Be responsible for the distribution plan from/to our vendors/distribution partners
• Monitor inventory levels per item
• Track purchases of PPE & test kits and delivery timelines
• Track costs and budget per item per month
• Run reports to identify trends, duplicates and anticipate supply needs
• Ensure new starters get appropriate kit and those leaving the project have materials retrieved
• Manage the website/portal for the ordering process
• Support the field staff  by both email and direct calling, plus support our helpdesk to deal with queries coming in form the field

Skills and experience required:

• Excellent Excel skills with the ability to work with high volumes requests
• Strong IT skills to ensure arcuate monitoring
• Great team working skills
• Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal
• Ability to understand processes and anticipate needs
• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines in a fast-changing environment
• Previous logistics experience, ideally at least 1 year
• 37 hour working week, with flexibility to work some weekend days
• 6-12 month fixed term contract
