The position:

The Senior Operations Finance Analyst – Lab Ops contributes to the achievement of financial and business objectives through accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting for complex projects. Works cross-functionally with operations, contracts and proposals, and finance to resolve issues related to revenue, costs, contract values and billing. Reconcile revenue with operations prior to the revenue recognition at month end. Handle month-end tasks including prepaid expense entry, reclass entries, allocation entries, etc. Support revenue, operating expense and headcount forecasting for operations . Provides financial guidance to operations management and other departments. New Business Accounting Support: Month-end tasks, Forecast and Finance reporting and Analysis Makes recommendations for process improvements and participates in special projects as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of accounting/financial principles and best practices Good business acumen with ability to understand complex organizational structures and environments Excellent analytical and quantitative skills Attention to details with good organizational skills Advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data Hands-on experience with accounting ERP system Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity Demonstrated critical thinking/problem solving skills Ability to multi-task/meet deadlines Understanding Chinese with accounting experience in China are plus
