Immunohistochemistry Research Associate Scientist

Job Overview:

We are seeking an Immunohistochemistry Research Associate Scientist for our Morrisville, NC lab.  The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Molecular Pathology group in the Companion Diagnostics division of LabCorp/Covance.

The job will include technologies IHC and digital pathology slide scanning. Specific job activities will include::

Standard histological techniques including thin sectioning using a microtome, and routine H&E and IHC staining using automated stainers.

Maintenance of laboratory in a regulated environment. Education/Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific discipline. Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

* 1-3 years hands-on experience working in immunohistochemistry laboratory.

* Demonstrated expertise with thin sectioning microtomy.

* Demonstrated expertise with IHC autostainers.
