QA Engineer 2

Job Description Summary

As a QA Engineer at IQVIA, you will be working to improve the reliability and performance of our Salesforce applications with a small team of engineers to perfect our next generation application. Requirements include, figuring out technology puzzles, lives to identify, record, thoroughly document and track bugs; sticking with a task until completion.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.

• Writing automated test scripts independently using specified skills and under deadlines

• Collaborate with Integration team to ensure quality standards are being met consistently

• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus

• Hands on experience in (Java + Selenium) is required

• 2+ years’ testing REST APIs

• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan

• Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts

• Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results

• Identify any potential quality issues per defined process

• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements

• Isolate, replicate, report and verify defect fixes

• Function as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in areas of software

• Perform other duties as required and assigned by Supervisors / Managers

Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field required; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• At least five (5) years related experience in quality assurance

• Hands on experience in (Java + Selenium) is required - 50% manual and 50% automation
