Analyst - Compliance FMV (Remote)

The Analyst will work primarily on teams led by Engagement Managers and Principals to meet goals and objectives as outlined in client contracts/agreements. Under supervision, the Consultant will develop and present project plans and proposals, the Consultant will have a largely client facing role and may be the day to day client contact on projects. Projects will be focused on calculating Fair Market Value to satisfy regulatory requirements in the life sciences industry. The calculation of Fair Market Value spans the following subject areas:

  • Healthcare professional services provided across the world;
  • Clinical research services provided across the world; and
  • Industry channel partner (e.g., wholesalers, specialty pharmacies, GPOs, PBMs) services and data provided across the world.

This role will expose the individual to several key facets of the life sciences industry and provide a solid steppingstone into the industry. A willingness to learn many facets of the industry is required.

Special projects and internal projects will also be assigned on an as needed basis by Engagement Managers and Principals. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Support and lead consulting projects
  • Lead clients in business workshops and interviews
  • Develop project deliverables which could include data analyses and reports
  • Develop, articulate, and present ideas and opinions
  • Manage and take accountability for projects
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff members
  • Develop relationships with clients and identify future opportunities
  • Create project deliverables with minimal oversight by senior staff
  • Support in growing the organization
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have a track record of success across most of the following competencies:

  • Client Relationship Delivery – Day-to-day owner of client delivery within leading Life Sciences organizations, focused on client satisfaction and outstanding client deliverables
  • Analytical Problem-Solving - Applies an analytical approach to solving problems and reaching logical conclusions. Gathers information from a variety of sources and quickly gains an understanding of it. Works effectively with complicated, conflicting, or ambiguous information, and looks beyond the surface of issues to identify their underlying patterns and causes
  • Effective Communication - Expresses ideas in a clear and concise manner; tailors’ message to target audience and can communicate effectively both verbally as well as in writing
  • Planning and Organizing – Ability to prioritize tasks and objectives to manage time and resources appropriately. Ability to set and follow deadlines in a consistent way. Prepares backup plans in case the situation changes
  • Cooperative Teamwork - Builds supportive relationships within a team, based on trust and respect. Requires listening to others, adapts to other people's different work styles and focuses on shared goals. Willing to challenge others and accepts challenges as a way of getting the best results for the team
  • Business Development - Actively participate in proposal development and ongoing pre-sales meetings with potential new client organizations
  • Interest in Life Sciences Industry – Strong interest in commercial operations, risk management and business strategy in the life sciences industry
  • International Experience - Has the experience to deliver global compliance client solutions
  • Flexibility - Responds well to change. Positive attitude toward change and a readiness to adapt when presented with new information, new situations or shifting priorities
  • Influencing - Balances the need to shape outcomes in short term while maintaining successful long-term relationships. Knows how to motivate and inspire to achieve a common goal and demonstrates key strategic negotiation tactics. Uses personal and professional contacts to influence people across teams or organizations

Qualifications & Other Requirements

In addition to the skills and experience above, candidates interested in joining IQVIA Commercial Compliance Consulting as a Consultant will also have:

  • Minimum 1 – 2 years demonstrated experience in working with financial analyses and or experience in one or more of the following focus areas: i) clinical research, ii) healthcare policy, or iii) market access
  • Undergraduate degree in economics, finance, accounting, clinical or health policy or healthcare administration is required; a graduate degree is a plus
  • Successful track record delivering projects (on time and on budget)
  • Strong writing, presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Working knowledge of basic software applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Entrepreneur, independent worker, organized, self-motivated
  • Analytical and quantitative: comfortable with numbers,
  • Strong business acumen, and excellent leadership skills
  • Willingness to have a different opinion, ability to articulate thoughts and concepts well
  • Ability and willingness to strive to improve skills related to the IQVIA core competencies
  • Experience or knowledge of pharmaceutical industry a strong plus
