Improved HR function in an assigned geography or assigned business line.  As HR Business Partner, with limited guidance, provide expertise, support and advice to assigned management teams either locally, regionally, globally or by function. With senior management, establish strategic goals and priorities and direct/oversee their delivery. Lead a team of HR professionals, including geographically remote team members, in a direct line or matrix structure to assure business delivery and results.

  • Provide Senior HR Partner support to the business unit
  •  Partner with the senior leadership team to develop and direct the HR business plan to support and drive business goals and objectives
  • Align and manage the matrixed HR Business Operations, TA, Talent & Learning and Comp & Benefits teams that support the business unit
  • Provide HR support as needed to the sales processes including participation on RFP, RFI and bid defense meetings to represent IQVIA talent/HR capabilities
  • Provide coaching and counseling to business leaders and managers to effectively meet business line/region goals
  • Support the SVP, HR, R&DS on critical and strategic HR programs, KPIs, key initiatives, projects and annual processes (such as performance management, LDR, budgeting and others). Additionally, the role will be responsible for managing the overall R&DS HR calendar of deliverables
  • Partner with Communications team to assist in developing & creation HR communications to employees, and other tasks as required
  • Track and provide high quality project management services for all HR initiatives & ensure on-time delivery. Partner with Corporate teams to manage employee Pulse Survey, Talent review and other key process for R&DS
  • Design and lead the implementation of solutions to enhance and grow the business, including organizational design and development, management and talent development, employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring effective and efficient delivery of HR services and functions
  • Lead activities and initiatives associated with change management involving reorganizations, integrations and transfers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Req
  • 10 years’ experience as a generalist or combination of generalist and specialist experience Req
  • 4 years direct line management experience Req
  • Experience operating with senior/executive management teams Req
  • Sound knowledge of local and relevant employment legislation
  • Extensive knowledge of the CRO, CSO or pharmaceutical and other related business industries
  • Excellent problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills in highly complex situations
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Expert coaching and counseling skills
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and HRIS applications
  • Very effective persuasive influencing skills
  • Organization and project management skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and very good interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to work in a matrix environment
  • Very high degree of discretion and confidentiality
