Pharmaceutical Sales Representative - Northeast - 2770252

We are looking for consistent and driven high performers with proven outside business to business selling skills to join our organization to launch a new technology for depression on behalf of our client, Orexo.  The entry level Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will be responsible for hunting, launching, promoting a product to Healthcare Providers in a designated territory. The Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will be expected to establish long-term business relationships with HCPs, both internally and externally.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales presentations – both virtual and in person as applicable 
  • Achieve sales goals by effectively implementing marketing strategies and sales plan in assigned territory
  • Analyze sales performance and adjusts business plan and approach accordingly
  • Maintain and update current and prospective target prescriber profiles and call records
  • Keep current with market knowledge and competitive products 
  • Maintain a professional image for Orexo products 
  • Successfully complete/participate in all required training and sales meetings 
  • Plan and organize territory to meet sales and call targets 
  • Coordinate and participate in lunch and learns, speaker programs, and conferences, as appropriate
  • Demonstrate mastery of selling skills with expertise in questioning and probing to better understand customer wants and needs
  • Demonstrate effective interaction with all IQVIA and Orexo company personnel
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by management
  • Make complete, accurate and timely submission of all timekeeping, details, call activity, expense reports, and sample activity when applicable 
  • Comply with governing corporate policies and SOPs, as well as applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, including compliance with promotional program, and proper use of promotional materials and promotional expense budgets 

Experience:

  • 4-year degree from an accredited college or university required; healthcare degree is a plus
  • B2B experience and hunter mentality
  • Proven and consistent track record of top performance and achievements; with documented evidence to support
  • Demonstrated success in persuasion, influence, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to apply technical and/or scientific knowledge
  • Consultative sales experience with healthcare industry account management
  • Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Salesforce.com or similar CRM experience a plus
  • Candidate should reside or live in close proximity to territory
  • Must be able to secure credentialing to access relevant customers and accounts in territory
  • Valid driver’s license required
