  Job Summary The Service Innovation and IT Implementation Specialist will partner with customers through the implementation of software and instrumentation. Work with customer IT to prepare computers and servers to host our technology and applications. Participate in the evaluation and testing of new technologies. Understand and stay up to date with the latest trends in technology, data security, server configurations and IoT applications. Must be proficient in Windows Server, Networking and remote support connection environments. Having knowledge of Linux operating systems, C#, SQL, PostGres SQL, Cisco Certification, and InstallShield a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

•    Partner with Client Implementation team and customer IT to understand the IT environment and match it to our software and hardware requirements. 

•    Collaborate with customer IT to define server configurations, data management and requirements for a successful software and hardware implementation.

•    Participate in business-wide meetings to provide insight into technical requirements.

•    Collaborate with engineering and product management in designing and evaluating of new software and hardware technologies.

•    Design and produce training content for customers and staff.

•    Develop and qualify user documentation and procedures. 

•    Implement new support technologies and services to the Microbial Solutions organization. 

•    Design and implement training programs for new technologies and services.

•    Maintain current understanding of FDA and USP guidelines and regulations as they pertain to software validation and implementations.

•    Participate in special projects as assigned to support ongoing product development.

•    Perform all other related duties as assigned.

  Job Qualifications

The following are the minimum qualifications related to the Service Innovation & IT Implementation Specialist role:

•    Education:  Bachelors degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in computer science, information technology or related fields.

•    Experience:  2-3 years related experience. Windows Server, Networking, and remote support connection environments. Linux operating systems, C#, SQL, PostGres SQL, Cisco Certification, and InstallShield a plus. 

•    An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

•    Other: Advanced computer and math literacy required.
