Study Recruitment Professional is a business critical role that is accountable for the recruitment project management and strategies to ensure enrolment of volunteers and patients for Phase 1/11a clinical trials conducted at the London Early Phase Clinical Unit (EPCU). In conjunction with external vendors, they manage all aspects of study planning and preparation, advertising and enquiries from volunteers and patients, by telephone, digital platforms and websites. Volunteers and patients are assessed for eligibility. All work is conducted as per the study protocols, EPCU Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP). A Study Recruitment Professional must demonstrate excellent communication, a professional customer service approach, time management and attention to detail, all projects are delivered within set timelines and budget. Review of Clinical Trial Protocol. Develop recruitment plan and strategy for enrolment of volunteers and patients. Create advertising material for Regulatory submission. Preparation of Sponsor facing presentations for clinical trial protocol specific training, investigating and risk management meetings. Agrees internal and external vendor timescales and budget. Attend regular sponsor update meetings. Respond to all new enquiries as recruitment lead for clinical trial studies. Achieve target turn up rate for volunteers and patient screening bookings. Maintain and update internal database, with new registrations. Fill clinical cohorts to ensure study is progressing to timescale and deliverables. Attach Local Regulatory approved documentation within all communication to participants, being invited for a screening appointment. Maintain London EPCU recruitment website. Monitors effectiveness of recruitment planning and negotiates as necessary, to ensure quality and delivery. Effectively communicate status update including risks and mitigation steps, to Line manager and relevant stakeholders. Any other duties as assigned by line manager. QualificationsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Highly developed organizational and problem solving skills. Communication and a proactive approach in study recruitment leadership. Professional approach to customer service and satisfaction. Self-motivated and work remotely to achieve agreed timescales. A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new initiatives. Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail, including identifying mitigation steps for risk management. Willingness to work under pressure and apply oneself to cross functional tasks. Team worker. Availability to work evenings or weekends as status of recruitment dictates.
