The Patient Centered Endpoints (PCE) team leads the industry in breadth and depth of Clinical Outcomes Assessment (COA) and Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) knowledge. The IQVIA PCE team is a specialized and dedicated group of experienced industry professionals who focus on understanding the patient experience and ensuring that scientific rigor required to meet regulatory expectations is incorporated into our methodology and processes. 

IQVIA’s PCE team delivers scientific and technology enabled solutions to biopharma drug development and real-world evidence teams, which are based on insights obtained directly from patients. Our services provide differentiation that helps increase the value of an asset, more accurately measures that value, and maximizes market access and adoption. Our PCE solutions support clinical development and real-world evidence requirements and span the development and commercial lifecycle, starting with early strategy development through results interpretation and dissemination.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Sales Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day sales activities for the PCE team at IQVIA. This role will require attention to detail and the ability to co-ordinate and work with a number of business lines across the team. This will include delivering operational support services to maintain integrity of the sales workflow and data, enabling the pursuit of revenue generating activities, and championing operational excellence.  

Responsibilities will include:

Sales Operations

  • Supporting the Sales Operations Lead in identifying opportunities to streamline the sales process to improve service delivery.  
  • Supporting in Sales Operation efforts, including opportunity triage, processing, and tracking.
  • Supporting and participating in cross-functional projects with the broader Sales Operations team.
  • Take ownership of maintaining the integrity of sales data and facilitating pursuit of revenue generating activities.
  • Maintain sales operations process guides and training materials for new hires regarding the internal Salesforce environment and sales process.

Salesforce (CRM) Administration

  • Championing and promoting best practice of Salesforce use.
  • Opportunity entry and supporting sales closure processes by collaborating with the Principal in Charge assigned to the opportunity.   
  • Co-ordinating with cross functional teams to ensure all deals continue to move through the sales process.
  • Maintaining data integrity including contributing to internal data cleansing efforts.
  • Analyzing the sales process and facilitating easier functional usage of the Salesforce environment.

RFI/RFP support

  • Developing, taking ownership, and championing the Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP) triage process. 
  • Review RFI/RFP received. Triage requests appropriately and identify appropriate text to support the proposal development team to prepare and finalize proposals.
  • Maintain and manage leading class responses in proposal library.

About You
Candidates interested in joining our Patient Centered Endpoints team as a Sales Operations Specialist should have:

  • Previous sales operations/business development experience
  • An understanding of how the sales process works
  • Ability to interpret RFPs and proposal-related requests  
  • Can-do attitude with a hands-on approach where needed
  • Pro-active and go-getter spirit
  • Possess strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization and to engage and facilitate across multiple stakeholders to accomplish team goals
  • Able to and comfortable with working to tight deadlines
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong self-motivation and be able to work independently whilst maintaining broader team goals
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

In addition to the skills and experience above a Sales Operations Specialist should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent graduate degree
  • Excellent English (spoken and written)
  • Right to live and work in the recruiting country
