The primary role of the Sensors Solutions Associate Director is to review, recommend, develop and implement scientific data-enabled sensor solutions for SDO internal and external customers in order to meet client research objectives.

The Sensors Solutions Associate Director will work alongside a multidisciplinary project team, consisting of scientific leads, SDO internal clients, SDO data engineer and technologists, Parexel and client therapeutic area and medical experts, biostatisticians, epidemiologists, and medical informaticists, to leverage the use of sensor data and facilitate diverse study designs and requirements which require the inclusion of sensor captured data.

General areas of responsibility:Oversight of sensors solution development and project start-up, implementation and closeout. This includes provision of sensor deliverables in accordance with contractual requirements, governing SOPs / regulations, and data / quality standards.Partner with internal clients, SDO data stewards, technologists, medical, and statistics to evaluate and document sensor evaluation for potential sensor use.May act as Project Leader for projects involving only Global Data Operations services. Build sensors specific TA and client focused packages ready for deployment.Key Accountabilities:Scientific data-enabled sensor solution development: Understand patient sensors study requirements and design, plan, implement and manage identified scientific sensor data-enabled aspects of study delivery for SDO internal and external customers.Commercial management: Review and provide input on the project proposal / budget / contract / exhibits to ensure SDO-provided services are appropriately scoped and budgeted. Manage these aspects of project scope / changes in scope in collaboration with the CRS / PAC or MSS project lead throughout the duration of the project and escalates appropriately any areas of concern or risk identified.Project Management: Takes full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation and completion of medium-scale projects. Ensures that realistic project plans are maintained and ensures regular and accurate communication to stakeholders. Adopts appropriate project management methods and tools whether predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches. Ensures Quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure. Manages the change control procedure, and ensures that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are signed off. Communication: Attend team meetings to ensure PS project objectives are met. Provide ongoing communication to team members throughout the project. Lead regular meetings with the client regarding PS-study components if required to ensure they are fully informed of project progress, pro-active decisions / solutions and the status of project objectivesRelationship Management: Identifies, translates and facilitates the communications and relationship needs of stakeholder groups. Provides informed feedback to assess and promote understanding. Captures and disseminates technical and business information.Supplier Management: Acts as the routine contact point between the organization and suppliers. Supports resolution of supplier related incidents, problems, or unsatisfactory performance.
