The Manager, Contract Administration manages deliverables, reporting, and revenue forecasting for government contracts ensuring timeliness, quality, and FAR compliance. In tandem, this Manager supervises team of contract administration professionals and provides coaching, training, and goal development.

Responsibilities:

Manages FAR compliance on government funded contracts. Manages contract deliverables and deliverable tracking.Manages contract specific financial reporting and revenue forecasting.Supervises team of contract administration professionals. Provides coaching, guidance, and training on daily tasks.Tracks timeliness and quality of deliverables and provides necessary metrics reporting.Participates in proposal budget planning and justification Identifies and resolves issues related to contract modifications, contract values, and contract deliverables. Provides documentation for A-133, DCAA, NIH and DOD annual audits.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualificationPrevious experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5 years).1 year of leadership responsibility

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

-Skilled in making business decisions based on financial conditions and government compliance guidance

-Demonstrated knowledge financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting

-Knowledge of government contracting process, including drafting and review

-Knowledge of GAAP

-Advanced skills in contract negotiations, startup, implementation, and close-out

-Advanced skills with the use of Microsoft Excel and Word

-FAR and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations knowledge

-Knowledge of government audit processes preferred

Management Role:

Manages experienced professionals and / or subordinate management who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments. Often heads one or more sections or a small department.
