With over 45 beds, our Early Phase Clinical Unit, located in Northwick Park Hospital in London Harrow is staffed around the clock by our highly trained and certified team. It features state of the art monitoring technologies and offers our volunteering participants a safe and comfortable environment for medical care. Our first-in-human study premises offer recreational facilities for the volunteers, a screening department, wards, a laboratory and a pharmacy.

The Unit Coordinator will provide administrative support to EPCU London Unit Head and Department Heads. This individual will also act as point of contact for general queries from within and outside the Unit, and route queries appropriately.

Key AccountabilitiesAdministriative duties, as required by the Unit Head. Taking phone calls, typing of documents & letters, photocopying, printing, developing and producing documents, as required.Management of distribution listings and meeting room calendars.Preparation of agendas, PowerPoint presentations, meeting set-up (invitations, order catering), taking minutes, booking and organising rooms, as required.Responsible for all aspects of Oracle ordering, follow up, delivery, receipt of general and study consumables and oversight of the qualification of new suppliers.Processing invoices for the Unit.Setting up and maintenance of trackers, Sharepoint, review and summarising of financial data. QualificationsSkills:Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication. Experience in Microsoft Office tools and Outlook; familiarity with CRM desirable. Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple, potentially conflicting deadlines with attention to detail and within agreed timelines . A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning. Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative to support the business. Strategic planning capability. Understanding of the importance of maintaining a high level of confidentiality. Willingness to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork. Client focused approach to work.

Knowledge and Experience :Administrative experience in a professional environment desirable. Strong written and spoken English.

Education:Minimum qualification of GCSEs or equivalent. Further qualifications in IT, Business Administration and/or Administrative/Secretarial qualification is desirable.
