Sr. Manager, Clinical Trial Management (CTM Line Manager)

China - Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou

The Senior Manager, CTM, is to lead and effectively line manage a group of global Clinical Trial Managers (CTMs) of various levels of seniority in multiple locations, to ensure appropriate performance in line with objectives, resourcing, and career development of CTMs and Sr. CTMs. The role may involve project governance.

You will lead and manage the clinical activities of one or more large multinational studies or program(s) in a manner that ensures all project timelines and targets are met, superior quality is achieved, costs are within budget and scope, and the clinical portion is inspection ready at all times. The role may also involve assuming some or all of the project manager responsibilities.

Qualifications

A Senior Manager, CTM is required to demonstrate ICON's leadership core competencies at all times. The role requires demonstration of at least the following key skills;

* Effective leadership, critical thinking, problem solving and managerial skills.

* Proven track record of positive and significant interaction with all stakeholders, including staff, vendors and clients.

* Proven track record of leading high profile initiatives and successfully managing change.

* Ability to successfully oversee all aspects of clinical trial management and delivery.

* A self-starter with a high achievement drive, ability to manage multiple (unrelated) activities simultaneously and decision making.

Successful candidate must have at least 10+ years of experience in the clinical research industry including extensive clinical trial management experience across APAC region. 1+ year of people management experience would be preferable.
