As Associate Global Communications Director you will develop, manage and implement Corporate Communications strategies to build the company’s reputation as a leader in the CRO industry with a priority focus on external stakeholders. You will work collaboratively within a team environment to ensure company communications are effective, accurate and delivered on time and on budget.

Among key external stakeholder audiences, you will focus on social, trade and business/financial media and other current/potential stakeholders. Contribute to key Media/Public Relations and Social Media initiatives in support of the Company’s business goals, with specific emphasis on thought leadership efforts to drive a positive perception of the company aligned with its growth goals. Serve as a key interface with the Marketing team on the communication of new positioning/messaging to external stakeholders to further strengthen the collaboration and position our campaigns for success.

Provides back-up support as needed to support External Communications initiatives.

ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Media/Public Relations and Social MediaSupports efforts to build credibility and awareness of the Company, its core offerings and key experts through contributions to a comprehensive and focused social media strategy reinforcing an agreed set of key messages.Contributes to the development and delivery of integrated and focused messages to local, regional, national and international trade media. Vehicles for message delivery include mainstream/trade media interview opportunities, strategic news releases and proactive media pitches, standby and position statements, media section of corporate website, etc.Assists with news release dissemination process. Serves as a company spokesperson; establishes and maintains contact with key media targets; anticipates and responds to media inquiries.Assists in the development and leadership of the company’s social media strategy and communications, including management of current social media platform and analytic tools, and expansion of the platform to position the company with new audiences.Leads/recommends thought leadership efforts/programs in support of key initiatives aligned withour priority areas of focus (e.g., leveraging our strengths [innovation], focus on the patient).Contributes to the development of a company speakers’ bureau/speaking plan to position our subject matter experts as potential presenters for high-profile, strategic industry conferences and symposia.Assists with implementation of local public relations activities and goodwill programs to raise company visibility (e.g., CEO presentations, community/charitable contributions efforts).
