Job Summary We are seeking an experiencedClient Managerfor our Client Services Team located inour Discovery Site inWorcester, MA.

Client Services is the intersection of science & business at Charles River. We are looking for a strong client facing, results oriented, self-starter who is ready to be a part of growing and driving the WOR in-vivo PK, bioanalysis, and in-vitro ADME business lines. Collaboration with internal stakeholders including Business Development, Client Services and site Operational colleagues is critical to success in this role. Position will be primarily an external client focus in the Boston/Cambridge bio hub with local daily travel to these areas. Ultimate responsibilities are to achieve the overall sales goals of the site and to drive new business growth in the above mentioned areas. Scientific understanding and experience with in-vivo PK, bioanalysis, and in-vitro ADME are a plus.

The following are minimum requirements related to theClient Managerposition:

Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in science, business, or marketing related discipline. Experience: 3-5 years customer service or related experience. Experience in a contract research and/or pharmaceutical setting preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Other:Capable of working with a minimum of supervision, able to handle multiple tasks, and effectively priortize based on departmental goals. Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail required. Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. Ability to work effectively and efficiently to meet deadlines. Understanding of business/sales process required.

The Corporate Functions provide operational support across Charles River in areas such as Human Resources, Finance, IT, Legal, Sales, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Corporate Development. They partner with their colleagues across the company to develop and drive strategies and to set global standards. The functions are essential to providing a bridge between strategic vision and operational readiness, to ensure ongoing functional innovation and capability improvement.
