We are seeking an experienced SecurityAssociate1 for ourCorporate Security Departmentteamlocated inMattawan, MI.

A Security Associate1 is responsible for:

· Acts in a central communication role for emergencies; notifies appropriate CRLSecurity Research personnel and local emergency agencies within defined procedures; as determined by recorded number of adverse/positive feedback responses for employees during each month.

· Notifies the appropriate emergency agencies in the event of an emergency or when an adverse incident occurs; as determined by recorded number of adverse/positive feedback responses for employees during each month.

· Maintains high level of proficiency in all Security policies and procedures; as determined by recorded number of adverse/positive feedback responses for employees during each month.

· Makes basic changes to the card access system (e.g., adding/deleting access, issuing temporary badging based on badge information). Remains familiar with and attains knowledge of special access procedures; as determined by recorded number of adverse/positive feedback responses for employees during each month.

· Maintains overall protection of CRLpersonnel, property, and resources; as determined by recorded number of adverse/positive feedback responses for employees during each month.

· Performs Gate Guard, Security Patrol, visitor control, enforcement of security policies and procedures, and traffic control as assigned. Grants entry to authorized personnel; as determined by recorded number of adverse/positive feedback responses for employees during each month.

· Maintains courteous and professional conduct; as determined by recorded number of adverse/positive feedback responses for employees during each month.

· Communicates effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and Study Directors.

· Effectively works in a team and demonstrates a commitment to achieving company goals.

· Timeliness of assigned duties; periodic timed assessments of security tasks will be conducted to assess job performance.

· Prompt reporting to assigned work locations; measured and recorded.

The following are minimum requirements related to theSecurityAssociate1 position.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Abilities required to accomplish the essential functions) include but are not limited to:

· HS/GED and 0-2 years of relevant experience.

· First Aid and CPR certifications.

· Intermediate computer skills such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel are required.

· Computer skills, commensurate with Essential Functions and including ability to learn a validated system.

· Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, extended shifts and/or extra shifts, sometimes on short notice.

· Ability to work under specific time constraints.
