Charles River is looking for an experienced and collaborative HR Technology professional responsible for managing our HR system, Success Factors and the overall business process design. This position will ensure optimization for business processes and workflows within Success Factors that will positively impact our HR and Company strategy. Responsible for the management of the HR technology portfolio of projects and it’s alignment to the HR strategies and operating model.  

 

This role will be part of the HR Operations team and report to the Executive Director, Global HR Services and Systems.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as the subject matter expert for Success Factor, our global workforce management system and single system of record for all people data globally Partner with HR to execute on its strategic projects and initiatives by leading requirement gathering sessions with leaders to support key HR initiatives.  Work closely with IT partners to deliver a comprehensive system solution to support the requirements.  Responsible for ensuring system configuration and testing of system functionality prior to full release in production.  Provide training and user resources to ensure new applications and changes are fully understood. Ensure that SuccessFactors is effectively integrated with other corporate management information system initiatives to minimize manual effort Utilize Agile methodologies to build out product road maps and sprint plans to efficiently execute on the portfolio. Leads the planning and deployment of system upgrades and refreshes, including the scheduling of key activities and communication of system downtimes to appropriate parties.  Partner with business teams to ensure understanding of new features available in current release and provide recommendations and direction on the next steps to deploy. Develop and manage the testing process for each system and manage the relevant change control and change management processes. Ensure security controls are in place and followed. Develops and maintains awareness of HR data security and compliance with policies and procedures, to include educating and updating HR staff on the latest security threats Oversees all aspects of HRIS administration, including new user security, database maintenance and troubleshooting.  Ensures rigorous tenant management including documenting, scheduling, and partnering with SAP to manage multiple tenants  Drive organizational trust of the employee worker data in Success Factors (and subsequently to downstream systems which consume worker data) Optimize role-based security & permissions Manage a team that provides operational and configuration support for all enterprise-wide HR technology enabled processes and solutions Lead and develop members of the HR Technology team, who are responsible for implementing and maintaining HR technology tools. Think critically about the short- and long-term evolution of the team and function.

  Job Qualifications Education:  Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) required.  Experience:  12+ years of experience in HR Technology and 7+ years managing a team.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. SAP SuccessFactors experience  Cloud platform experience preferred Strong business process development and improvement Demonstrated large scale project management skills; ability to manage both the people and the details of the project Ability to prioritize effectively, while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to multi-task with an exceptional attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of the organization.
