Key Responsibilities:-

This Clinical Data Engineering role will focus on aggregating data (on and offline data) from all eCRF and Decentralized platforms, develop offline listings, generate data trends to facilitate decision making within DM and support the Data Management organization to provide best in class solutions to our clients. Candidate will use their scientific mindset and technical expertise (SAS or SQL) to achieve such tasks. This leadership role will be responsible to lead a group of Clinical Data Engineers supporting global clients and help transform data management organization. It would be ideal role for colleagues working in senior technical roles providing technical leadership to the projects and would like to leap themselves into the management role.

The Senior Manager

* is responsible for the oversight of a team of high level contributors or a group of Managers. This includes ensuring successful delivery of his/her organization’s project deliverables, on time with high quality.

* is responsible to resource client projects with suitably developed professionals and to retain and develop these professionals within Parexel.

* is responsible to promote new business by participating in project bids and client presentations, as appropriate.

* is responsible to provide expertise and consultation to project teams.

* is an experienced leader capable of working independently, under supervision of the Director or Senior Director.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:-

Skills

•Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate direct reports

•Demonstrated ability to successfully manage a full workload across multiple-projects.

•Ability to manage Managers

•Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills (including experience in making presentations at conferences, meetings, training sessions)

•Ability to lead a “virtual” global team as required•Outstanding negotiation and organizational skills.

•Client focused approach to work

•A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning

•Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail

•Ability to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork.

•Comprehensive knowledge of relevant software: Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook.

•Excellent negotiation skills

•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Education

•Educated to a degree level (biological science, pharmacy or other health related discipline preferred) or relevant clinical or business equivalent

Language Skills

•Competent in written and oral English and local language

Minimum Work Experience

•Significant work experience in similar position

•Sound / Solid SAS Programming experience is essential (Principal Level SAS Programming experience may be considered for this role)
