The Medicaid Supplier Service Coordinator is a key member of the Contract Performance Solutions team, which provides business process services in support of pharmaceutical clients.  In this role you will work in a deadline-oriented, fast paced environment as part of a dynamic team consisting of onshore and offshore operations staff. The team goal is to provide superior service to the clients (internal and external), and other stakeholders.

The Medicaid Supplier Service Coordinator will provide support to business operations by performing processing tasks such as data entry, scanning, mail sorting, strategic planning, process enhancements, and other similar activities. This role manages relationships with our clients to ensure deliverables are met on time. Ensures client data quality meets standards and established expectations and consults with clients and team to provide Industry insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manages the organization of incoming Medicaid Invoices in various forms:  Email & portal notifications, and notices via US Postal Service
  • Ensures State & Vendor portal access is accurate & up-to-date each quarter
  • Effectively manages Late Pay notifications and other State/Vendor inquiries
  • Ensures accurate and appropriate responses to inquires from internal staff, customers and State/Vendors
  • Proactively identifies efficiencies for accountable tasks and makes recommendations to improve quality, speed, accuracy and efficiency
  • Responsible for the quality of the deliverables provided to our Medicaid customers
  • Assists with payment processing customers (i.e., collate payment packages and checks sent to States/Vendors on behalf of our customers.
  • Assists Medicaid Team and other office employees with tasks as time permits.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • High School degree with 3 to 5 years Admin experience or Associates Degree in healthcare, finance, business, statistics, math or related area.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, exceptional communication skills, strong quantitative skills, and be a proven team contributor
  • Possess strong computer capabilities including spreadsheet and database entry, (e.g., Word & Excel)
  • Possess strong inter-personal communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively with others
  • Strong & proven ability to manage dynamic workload in a changing environment
  • Participate productively as a team member and complete tasks beyond general support level
  • Identify and resolve issues independently, while escalating more complex questions appropriately
  • Ability to manage tasks and assignments without detailed direction.
  • An interest in and desire to learn about the constantly evolving healthcare industry
  • Experience with the following is preferred but not required:
    • Medicaid Drug Rebate Program
    • Prescription Rebate Processing
    • Pharmacy Benefit Management
    • Managed Health Care
