Role Summary

The Analytics Lead in our EMEA Brand and Integrated Research Solutions team is critical for driving innovative solutions to key HQ clients based in EMEA. It is expected that the post holder will work closely with the senior team to provide clients with strategic support to answer business issues, oversee the delivery of high-quality studies and generate repeat business.

It is expected that the postholder will be the senior point person in the team for advanced analytics, generating clear and visual solutions for more in-depth analytical questions and will lead the integration of secondary data into primary market research.  

There are several key elements to the role:

Driving innovation in analytics in Brand and Integrated Research Solutions through new offering development and invigoration of current offers Driving sales for more complex analytical studies Building the capabilities of the team through training Identifying and implementing any technology and software needs for the team to improve efficiency in analysis

It is expected that the postholder will focus on supporting large existing client and work closely with the delivery teams to ensure continuing high levels of client satisfaction. They will also build a strong relationship with the IQVIA HQ account teams, to identify opportunities across the range of IQVIA commercial offerings. This would focus in particular on integrating different research solutions, such as primary and secondary intelligence, and employing the broader IQVIA offer to have meaningful discussions with clients. The Principal would be responsible for developing winning proposals for clients, evaluating and proposing different analytical / methodological solutions to the client.

The Principal would be responsible for the delivery of large and more complex programs of work with multiple workstreams, across multiple IQVIA teams. They need to have proven capabilities to network effectively within a large organisation and the ability to bring together and coach high performing teams. The role also includes being a member of the EMEA B&IRS leadership team, taking responsibility for the execution of internal initiatives to drive the EMEA business forward.

We are seeking experienced professionals with a scientific or academically rigorous background who have demonstrated a strong track record within health and life sciences consulting. They should have a strong industry presence and be able to demonstrate their scientific passion and creativity. The candidate will be excited about developing new solutions and services, driving business development activity and delivering projects of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the B&IRS analytics function for key HQ clients in EMEA, developing, deploying and upskilling the team to provide advanced analytical solutions for clients
  • Acts as the trusted advisor to clients on a project basis, leading the initial scoping, and guiding the delivery team to success. Brings strategic thinking to client issues, developing clear actions for the client to solve their issues, particularly when combining different sources of data
  • Consulting with customers to fully understand their needs and developing high quality proposals to address these needs
  • Identifying and driving the innovation of the B&IRS offer, by better understanding client needs, and working across the IQVIA organisation to bring together best in class solutions. Ensures that offering development is scalable across different client business issues
  • Taking a leadership role in implementing B&IRS business vision and objectives, and support the development of the business
  • Coaching the team in terms of analytics
  • Evaluating and recommend efficiency improvements in the way of working of the team
