Job Purpose:

The Pricing Implementation Specialist role will be primarily responsible for the creation and maintenance of pricing tools to support PI’s suite of services as well as supporting client pricing initiatives including but not limited to the creation of rate cards, mapping of bid grids and historical pricing analysis.

Key Accountabilities:

Overall management and accountability for the creation and analysis of pricing models, including coordination of all key operational areas, preparation and review. Ensure smooth transition of awarded models to the Proposals & Contracts Teams.Pricing Model and Development and MaintenanceDevelop new pricing tools. Determine project scope, define requirements, works with relevant stakeholders across the business to coordinate production and creation of user friendly toolsMaintain and update all pricing toolsParticipate in the testing of tools, procedures, and processes related to pricingClient Pricing InitiativesCreation of client rate cards in line with standard processes and guidelinesSupport initiatives around client bid grid mappingPerform pricing analysis and pricing modelling exercisesValidation of pricing models and bid grids, where requiredAdditional ActivitiesProvide guidance and address questions regarding pricing mechanics for internal stakeholdersMonitor special pricing requests and in some instances provide exception reportingProvide support and training on pricing tools to Proposals and Contracts team as well as other internal stakeholders as applicableActive participation in pricing related meetings and conference callsDevelop and maintain ongoing pricing analysis/market data and provide value added pricing data back to the business units/ senior management.QualificationsSkills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsAbility to lead internal strategy meetingsConfident to deal with all internal and external staff levelsExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenHighly organized with excellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent numeracy skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsComprehensive knowledge of relevant software (Windows, Word, Outlook, Databases)Knowledge and Experience:3+ years of experience in pricing tool creation/maintenanceEducation:Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Business or equivalent work experience
