Sample Mgmt Lead

Fulfills all of the duties of a Sr. Sample Coordinator in addition to oversight, coordination, and continued development of the technical training needs of all sample coordinators. Mentors and assesses staff through the normal course of their daily duties. Oversees scheduling of sample management staff and assists the AD, Ops Labs with oversight of the department. Performs any or all Sample Coordinator functions to include oversight and performance of a variety of complex standard tasks and sample tasks (receipt, accessioning, routing, storage, aliquotting, shipping, discard, destruction, etc.) in support of the Sample Management department.Oversees the scheduling of sample coordinators. Assists management with oversight of the department. Acts as back-up in the absence of management. Acts as a technical liaison for project-specific sample-management procedures.
