Job Overview
Provides first level support on workstations or for applications.

The North America computer build team is centralized in OPK and supports New Hire, refresh and computer repair needs. The team supports 19,112 US and Canada end users. The region has experienced growth and has seen an 67% increase in workload from Q3-Q4 2019 to Q3-Q4 2020 with 5 LOIT staff managing the workload. The centralized build depot model is part of our EUS strategy and enables us to progress our EUS evolution model (centralize remote support for our smaller sites and North America M&A).

Essential Functions
• Processes and provides first level support for technical assistance and resources from internal and/or external customers.
• Communicates with end users to clarify and define requirements.
• Maintain asset management and daily operations reports.
• May work with monthly charge back reports.
• May schedule configuration and installation of PC workstation hardware and software.
• Be able to lift up to50lbs.

Qualifications
• Associate's Degree Computer Science or equivalent, or equivalent technical training Req
• One (1) years related experience or training Req Or
• Equivalent combination of education and experience Req
• Familiarity with mainframe, distributed, PC, LAN, or telecommunications equipment and related components in order to understand client's technical needs, or may have experience in customer service role.
• Ability to carry out some analysis and information gathering to resolve problems on routine matters.
• Good organizational skill
