Job Summary:

  • Partner with business to develop and evolve the IT strategy for trial management portfolio of clinical operations. Aligning strategic initiatives to drive clear benefits including business growth, increase revenue, productivity, and quality.
  • Represent business strategies and priorities to IT and the IT vision to the business.
  • Apply expertise in business process and technology, bringing innovative ideas and technology solutions to business problems.
  • Partner with the business and work stream team members to fully define business case (including ROI), scope and roadmap.
  • Manage and maintain product/project roadmap and associated finances.
  • Co-ordinate with Business, Program/Project Manager and Delivery Lead to ensure resourcing and processes followed enable successful execution of delivery.
  • Manage programs and projects as point of contact for the business stakeholders and R&DS IT team.
  • Manage and co-ordinate the preparation, review and presentation of the status of strategic and project updates for stakeholders and executives.
  • Drive the delivery teams within portfolio towards preservation and enhancement of product and related projects.
  • Responsible to business leadership for all IT related escalations across their business unit, working with program, product and operations teams and CIO Service Delivery Teams.
  • Provide input for R&DS IT organizational and program level technology strategy
  • Support Business Analysts as required in the build and collection of detailed requirements.
  • Work with peers to establish processes and approaches to optimizing the way we work together and with stakeholders.
  • Support development (review and sign off) of SDLC artifacts as required
  • Line Management of staff in accordance with organization's policies and applicable regulations.
  • Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems.
  • Approving actions on human resources matters
