In return, we’ll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about. Job Summary We are seeking a Statistical Data Associate 1 for our Discovery site located in Morrisville. 

 

Responsible for assembling reports and preparing and generating electronic files for clients and writers. Enter data into statistical templates and use data to prepare graphs and summary tables. Verify and audit data.

 

The following are responsibilities related to the Statistical Data Associate 1: 

  Develop custom database queries to answer the questions of research staff, implement new metrics from existing data, strive to improve data quality, and contribute to correct acquisition of new data  Query databases to create daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting or datamining for internal and external clients Identify new process improvement opportunities to improve data quality Format visual output of data analysis for internal/external customer review Extract, translate and load (ETL) data into LIMS database and/or for client deliverables Prepare statistical analyses, tables and graphs according to current practices in literature Perform QC checks on work performed by other support groups and on deliverables for clients Organize tabulated, graphical and statistical data to present to scientific staff Mentor less experienced staff Adhere to company SOPs

 

The following are minimum qualifications related to the Statistical Data Associate 1 position:

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in Math, Life Sciences or related discipline.

Experience:  No experience working in a pharmaceutical, preclinical or drug discovery industry required. 

An equivalent combination of education & experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education & experience listed above.

Certification/Licensure: None

Other: Microsoft Suite proficiency, experience working with LIMS database, experience using software for statistical analysis (Prism, SPSS, SAS, JMP, Minitab, R, etc.), and a basic understanding of statistical methodology including parametric and nonparametric statistics. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with multiple internal and external audiences. Exceptional communication skills and keen attention to detail Job Qualifications
