Senior Procurement Specialist

The (Snr) Procurement Specialist, Global Procurement Operations must analyze and understand customer requirements in order to provide professional advice and ongoing support to meet their business requirements. The Senior Procurement Specialist provides in-depth specialized procurement knowledge, detailed strategic analysis and maintains ongoing commercial relationships between PAREXEL and its key suppliers. They will also play a leading role in supplier management, working closely with suppliers to develop business relationships that help facilitate a more streamlined approach to sourcing while ensuring through negotiation that price competitiveness and high levels of service are maintained. In addition, the Senior Procurement Specialist may provide a team leader role which would include providing day-to-day oversight and mentoring of other Senior and Procurement Specialists also to share with their less experienced colleagues their own knowledge and experiences and lead by example.

As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will demonstrate: Strong knowledge of procurement principles, theories, concepts, and processes. Ability to develop solutions to complex procurement problems and provide high quality and/or innovative solutions. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and presentation skills.

Oracle R12 PO/AP/iProcurement modules Strong Microsoft office skills, including proficiency in Excel. Strong negotiation skills. Strong strengths in relationship building and conflict management. QualificationsStrong experience working within a Procurement environment at a local/ regional level within CRO or pharma industry Exposure to operations and/or life sciences is an advantage 4+ years of relevant experience is desirable Oracle experience in a global environment is beneficial Prior project management experience is an advantage Proficiency in Excel Good command of Ukrainian and English
