Parexel is hiring a Global CNS Franchise Leader to join our Global Medical Services organization (GMS). The CNS Franchise includes Neuromodulation, Neurodegeneration – Neuroinflammation - Rare Neurological Diseases and Psychiatry is respectively lead by 3 Therapeutic Area Section Heads. This role will report into the Senior Vice President, Global Medical Services. As the Global CNS Franchise Leader, you will be responsible for leading and growing the CNS strategy and stakeholders. As the Executive Leader, you will provide leadership and development for the Global CNS team.

Main areas of accountability will be the following Lead the CNS medical team (~15 MDs globally located). You will make the CNS working environment as enjoyable, exciting, and motivating as possible. You will be responsible for developing and retaining each member of the team and attracting the most suitable talents to meet patients’ and customer’s needs. Develop and implement a CNS plan in coordination with the relevant Subject Matter Experts. You will perform regular and comprehensive analysis of the Parexel services and solutions in prioritized CNS indications. You will ensure that an internal stakeholder is accountable for each critical component of our CNS solution. You will be in turn accountable for setting up a tailored and comprehensive delivery solution for clinical research in CNS. Deliver scientific expertise to clients and colleagues from other departments together with the CNS medical leaders. Focus will be on CNS diseases, study design/optimization, and overall development strategies from early phase to market access. You will educate the team on CNS and related clinical research. As the CNS leader, you will participate in regular client facing activities. New business awarded in the CNS space will be one of your key performance metrics. You will be responsible for building a network of senior leaders at clients / pharmaceutical companies. As a Parexel senior executive leader you will apply your skills, energy in corporate areas and your depth of experience will solve any critical challenge and contribute to Parexel's ongoing success QualificationsDesired experience and education this individual will bring includes the following Demonstrated leadership skill, ability to influence and make things happen CNS background including direct experience in main CNS indications Holistic understanding on the key elements needed for a successful drug development journey in main CNS indications including experience with relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines for drug development Proven and applied expertise in clinical drug development at a senior level position, in the CRO and/or pharmaceutical industry. Would consider a Division Head in Academia or Healthcare Prior academic/clinical patient care experience within the CNS Experience in clinical research, as an investigator or sub-investigator; laboratory research in CNS related topics preferred but not mandatory Established presentation/teaching skills Fluent in English, with excellent writing skills Business acumen, with understanding of financial and marketing principles Publications in peer-reviewed literature on CNS related topics Advanced medical / PhD degree(s) with relevant CNS experience
