This role is responsible for selling the innovative Microbial Solutions portfolio focused on rapid microbiological products to major accounts. You are expected to maintain existing accounts and further maximize opportunities within the established territory through market research and sales activities. You will be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales targets for the assigned products and services. 

 

Responsibilities:  Lead sales programs in assigned territory / account by applying technical / scientific selling skills to develop existing accounts and compete for customers Develop strategies to achieve defined targets and close opportunities Handle initial inquiries and qualify all prospective opportunities Respond to customer requests or issues in a timely and professional manner to ensure full customer satisfaction and good Company brand image representation Work cohesively with Account Management, Field Support, Laboratory and other teams to provide excellent service to customers Gather data on potential customers in designated geographical region Analyse customer data, provide accurate sales forecast and provide timely reporting of any customer issues to Sales and Operations Management Prepare and implement a comprehensive territory management plan Build relationships with customers, communicate available products and services to them in timely manner Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed Adhere to all Comp[any Policies and Procedures including Code of Conduct and Record Management Policy Document and report to Management any event which could, in his/her reasonable opinion, potentially result in a hazardous, litigious or quality-compromising situation Perform all other related duties as assigned Job Qualifications At least 3-5 years of sales/account management experience, preferably in pharmaceutical/biotechnology or related industries Good track record in meeting sales targets by selling to corporate clients Able to define target markets, generate leads and qualify opportunities Able to manage multiple opportunities at the same time Experience in managing clients' relationship and expectations, as well as vendors/suppliers and business partners' relationship and expectations Self-confident and motivated, independent, assertive and capable in leading and perform end-to-end selling processes and activities with minimum supervision Able to influence and negotiate with key management stakeholders Highly motivated with strong selling, presentation and business analysis skills Confident disposition, well-groomed with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enjoys networking and negotiation Ability to work in a multicultural environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity Travel : Willing to periodically travel to Malaysia & Brunei when needed Language :  Fluency in English is a must in order to support the multiple geographies
