Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Research Associate for our Insourcing Solutions site located in San Francisco, CA.

 

This role offers a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus and an hourly rate of $41.60 + excellent benefits.

 

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Associate to support our In Vivo Translation Core team.  Substantial expertise with tumor xenograft models, Caliper tumor volume analysis, intravenous dosing are essential.  Experience with in vivo adoptive cell therapy is highly desirable. You will work with teams to design and perform studies for in vivo efficacy, candidate selection and ex vivo MOA, pharmacodynamic and biomarker discovery. You'll also work closely with discovery researchers to support target discovery and next generation adoptive cell therapies. In addition, you'll support in vivo assays necessary to support product development and regulatory filings for pivotal clinical studies.   Outstanding self-initiative, data analysis and communication skills are key.

  What You Will Do Support the pre-clinical in vivo translational immunology group effort that utilizes tumor xenograft models for discovery and IND-enabling studies for CAR-T adoptive cell therapy Design and perform rodent dosing studies, caliper tumor measures, BLI imaging analysis, blood and tissue sampling, Data recording and analysis Opportunity to develop experience in Flow Cytometry for CAR-T pharmacokinetics Working with teams to draft animal protocols and then coordinate studies with cross-functional teams Job Qualifications

What You Will Bring B.S./Masters in tumor biology, biotechnology or related fields with 2+ (RA) or 4-6+ (SRA) years of relevant industry experience.   Hands-on experience with all aspects of running tumor models Experience with various tumor models to demonstrate mechanisms of action
