1st SHIFT POSITION!Thursday-Sunday8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. (CST) Note: As needed, overtime is available to cover personnel.

We are seeking a Facilities Technician I for our Cell Therapy Manufacturing Facility located in Memphis, TN

The Facilities Technician performs maintenance for all production and process equipment. The Facilities Technician will function as an integral part of the maintenance team, provide technical support to team member on a variety of instrumentation and equipment, and manage all documentation relating to maintenance. The Facilities Technician will also maintain a safe work environment for all employees, approve maintenance work orders, and create/review/approve SOPs for maintenance of new and existing equipment.

The following are responsibilities related to the Facilities Technician I position:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment, process equipment and facilities equipment.
  • Responsible for the quality of product through the repair and maintenance of production and process equipment.
  • Complete scheduled and unscheduled work orders and preventative maintenance duties, while completing required documentation.
  • Develop, review, and perform preventative maintenance and repair operating procedures for required equipment.
  • Assist in the training of plant personnel on new and/or modified equipment or procedures relating to equipment.
  • Assist with validations and revalidations, as needed.
  • Assist in the procurement of stock and repair parts.
  • Work cross functionally to ensure scheduling of PMs and repairs.
  • Comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Job Qualifications

The following are minimum qualifications related to the Facilities Technician I position:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or engineering preferred. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.
